Instructions

  1. Start by preparing your pineapple. If using fresh pineapple, peel, core, and cut it into chunks. If using canned pineapple, ensure it is well-drained to avoid excess liquid in your drink.
  2. Measure out 2 cups of pineapple chunks and place them in a blender. If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can add the optional tablespoon of sugar at this stage.
  3. Gather the remaining ingredients: coconut cream, white rum (if using), crushed ice, and lime juice (if desired). Make sure your coconut cream is well-mixed, as it can separate in the can.
  4. In the blender, add the 2 cups of pineapple chunks.
  5. Pour in 1 cup of coconut cream. This will give your Piña Colada its rich, creamy texture.
  6. If you are using rum, add 1 cup of white rum to the blender. For a non-alcoholic version, simply skip this step.
  7. Add 1 cup of crushed ice to the blender. This will help chill the drink and create a slushy consistency.
  8. If you opted for lime juice, add 1 tablespoon now. This will enhance the flavor and balance the sweetness of the drink.
