  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional, for a kick)
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra flavor)

Instructions

  1. In a medium-sized mixing bowl, add the softened butter.
  2. Add the minced garlic.
  3. Toss in the finely chopped parsley.
  4. Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using). Mix until well combined.
  5. If using Parmesan cheese, fold it into the mixture now.
  6. Place the loaf of French or Italian bread on a cutting board.
  7. Slice the bread in half lengthwise using a serrated knife.
  8. Place the halves cut-side up on a baking sheet or large plate.
  9. Take a generous amount of the garlic butter mixture and spread it evenly over the cut sides of the bread.
  10. Save any leftover garlic butter for later use.
  11. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  12. Place the garlic bread halves in the air fryer basket, cut-side up.
  13. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, checking for golden brown and crispy edges.
  14. For extra crispiness, add an additional 1-2 minutes of cooking time.
  15. Carefully remove the garlic bread from the air fryer using tongs or a spatula.
  16. Optionally, sprinkle additional parsley or Parmesan cheese on top while warm.
  17. Let the garlic bread cool for a minute before serving.
